A Self Help Test2 Question on Installing New beliefs!
Appreciate the Miracle of Physical Reality.
What’s the Most Effective Way of Installing New Beliefs?
A Self Help Test2 Question.
That new version of earth sounds wonderful. I am really feeling it and I do eventually want to shift to it or somewhere similar at some point, but I understand that it is a process. I do understand that the experiences we get in life depend on two things: our Beliefs and our Alignment.
I think repetition of affirmations is a valuable tool to aid us to install new beliefs and I do understand that our beliefs need to be deep rooted and firm before we start experiencing their essence. However, I am a little confused about the most effective way to quickly define and then install a positive belief around any subject, to the extent that it starts showing up as my life experience.
Aside from using positive affirmations, I have used Abraham’s Focus Wheels for changing my beliefs. And I also practice Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to neutralize and reinforce my beliefs. These things do help, but I still feel that some of my beliefs are not as firmly rooted as they need to be in order for me to experience their essence.
Should I be using these tools and processes in this way or can you suggest or recommend any other tools or processes? Thank you very much!
Thanks for your question Rose.
Throughout this website I suggest and recommend many tools that I’ve used which resonate with me. The bottom line regarding any tool is if it resonates with you then it will work for you, that’s why you attracted it to you.
Please understand that any process is a tool that you use in order for you to allow you to BE more of who you are. You have to remember that the outside world, including all processes that you become aware of, is a reflection that’s brought to you by your own state of BEing; and hence the power of the process lies within you, the process or tool itself doesn’t have any power of its own.
I used to use affirmations a lot without fully believing them 100% and I got mediocre results. It wasn’t until I truly believed in my affirmations that evidence of my beliefs started showing up in my life.
Understanding the truth that what we believe we will perceive is extremely self-empowering. Grasping this truth might be difficult for some people, because in order to effectively utilize it to change our beliefs it must be fully believed. We can’t install new beliefs until and unless we believe we can.
The thing that helped me the most with grasping the truth concerning the nature of belief was the realization that there’s no primary reality that’s more real than any other reality. Don’t confuse reality with what’s real. All realities are illusory by nature, but our experience of any particular reality is real.
Our personal reality is created by our imagination, definitions and beliefs concerning how we want and expect our reality to be. Once you really 'get' this, you can start using its power to enable you to create the life of your dreams by imagining, defining and creating the reality you prefer.
And once you really 'grasp' this truth it’ll be easier for you to imagine, define and believe in the reality of your preference and to make your belief in that idea stick; so you’ll more easily allow your definitional belief to BE your new experiential reality.
Therefore, I really want you to understand that the only reality there is, is any reality that you believe to be true. By understanding that there’s no reality other than any reality that you imagine, define and then believe to be reality you’re free to imagine, define and believe in any reality you prefer :)
It’s not that there’s one fixed version of reality that you can compare any other reality to. It’s not that you can look around you and say, well, this reality is really real and so that other reality is not as real, and thereby use that as a gauge; but rather that any and all realities are fluid and fleeting by nature and thus, over time, any and all realities can be bent to your preference, as long as your belief is strong enough.
As a practical example:
Let’s say that before this realization you lived an experiential reality of being poor because you convinced yourself and believed you’d never be wealthy. With your new understanding that your own belief is the only thing keeping wealth from you, it’ll be much easier for you to believe and move into the reality of being wealthy if that’s what you desire.
Because now when you create and use new affirmations you already know that the reality you’re defining is true because you say it is. And your affirmation can serve to remind you that that’s where you’re heading. And in turn you’ll be excited by the idea of your new reality and the excitement itself will bring that reality to you even faster, providing you get out of your own way and allow it to BE.
See you on the New Earth ♥
