During the process of creating this inspired website beginning in 2009, apart from Abraham, Bashar, Seth and the 9th Dimensional Pleiadian Collective etcetera, which I already knew about, I was attracted to many spiritual healers and channeled sources that had begun their work during the past 10 years or so. Actually, these days my main source of updated information concerning the nature of existence comes from channeled sources, either directly from spirit (non-physical) sources or via extraterrestrial sources.

As I still regularly get updated information from several channels today, I decided to share this information with you in order that you too can benefit from the self empowering knowledge being disseminated. Everything is energy vibrating at a unique frequency. And as we can only experience things that are in a similar vibrational frequency range to us, in order to be able to receive information that exists at a different vibration we must first tune in to its frequency. This is similar to the analogy of tuning your television or radio to a different station (frequency) which already contains the program you want to see or hear.

Therefore, what channeling must be is us becoming more consciously aware and tuning in to a vibrational frequency that we were previously unaware of – the frequency of our higher self and beyond. That frequency has always been there, only now you’re becoming aware of it.

Your body is your non-physical spirit represented in physical form. So it makes sense that healing your body is most effective when done on the level of non-physical energy. As physical beings we balance energy through our beliefs, thoughts and emotions. By redefining our beliefs into those which better serve us, we cause our vibration to increase and we feel better. This in turn results in a more balanced and harmonious, dis-ease free, physical body expression.

Due to the difficulty people have with identifying and understanding their beliefs, many people will benefit greatly if an "apparent" other person assists with this balancing of energy. Spiritual healers don't actually heal other people, they can only heal themselves. Instead they help others by offering an example of their energy! Then it's up to each person whether they wish to emulate that example and raise their frequency state to that of a healthy being. Sometimes the healer serves the purpose of proving to the other person that they can't be healed, which is what that person most believes to be true.

Inspired Self Help Directory - How I Was Attracted To Channeling

For me, the ongoing awakening process went something like the following. My idea that reality is mechanical, fixed and the same for everyone was shattered by a combination of experimenting with magic mushrooms and reading all of Carlos Castaneda's books several times. The idea that who we really are is much greater than our ego self was introduced to me by Jiddu Krishnamurti and continued later by Eckhart Tolle and others.

During that time I read hundreds of spiritual, self help and metaphysics books, multiple times, for more than 20 years. By practicing and using the awareness gained from that process I was able to enjoy life much more fully. This was due to freeing myself from many of the self-imposed and self-limiting ideas maintained by my ego self personality construct!

Later, as a natural progression from everything I’d learned, I was attracted to information being channeled from such sources as Abraham, Bashar, Seth and the 9th Dimensional Pleiadian Collective. After that I have been attracted to many channels including those listed on this inspired self help directory page.
